Compute-A-Fan v9.0
:
Compute-A-Fan is a fast, accurate and easy to use fan selection program. This tool gives point and click access to Cook's entire line of fans, blowers, gravity ventilators and energy recovery ventilators. Simply select a fan model, enter air flow and pressure in either English or metric units and all possible fans are displayed. A comprehensive, cross-reference interface allows the user to select fans based upon the product specifications of any major manufacturer. The Tools Menu includes these proven timesavers: Fan Law Calculator, Duct Designer, Psychrometric Calculator, English-Metric Converter, Sound Converter, Annual Energy Cost Estimator.


New features and functions in Compute-A-Fan v9.0:
  • New Products - Compute-A-Fan v9.0 has the new EWD, EPB, EPD Propeller Wall fans, Gemini GC/GN 122/124, 142/144, 162/164, 182/184 fans, GI/GR Gravitiy Vents, as well as the following updated product lines: VCRD-HP, VCRD-XP, QMX & QMX-HP Sizes 90, 120, 135 and QMXU, QMXU-HP, CAC Air Circulators and the hurricane resistant TLC.
  • Edit Fan Performance and Configuration - Fan performance (CFM, SP, Altitude and Temperature) can now be edited along with the fan configuration. Edit Fan Configuration only will still be a option if performance is not changing.
  • Isolation Base Submittals - Compute-A-Fan will now print submittals for Isolation Bases saved with fans. This functionality is supported on Windows 2000 or later running Internet Explorer 5.01 or later.

Additional program highlights include:
  • Automatic Updates - Keep you current with the latest updates - automatically.
  • Electronic Publications - Electronic versions of all printed catalogs and IOM manuals are now included with Compute-A-Fan.
  • FanDrafter CAD file exporting - AutoCAD compatible drawing files can now be exported from Compute-A-Fan.

FanDrafter v3.0:
FanDrafter is a CAD template package that can insert accurate, scaled, depictions of our products into architectural drawings. Nearly 5,000 drawings, representing plan and elevation views of every Cook model, size and configuration are included. When FanDrafter is accessed with AutoCAD Release 2000 (or higher) a customized menu system is available.

Fan Law Calculator & Duct Designer

This handy, two-in-one design tool furnishes fast, accurate, and practical information. Fan Law Calculator displays cfm, rpm, static pressure, and horse power. Input any one measurement and all four are calculated. Duct Designer selects the proper duct size when capacity, velocity, and friction loss are entered.
